It occurred to me today that we haven't had a post featuring a Bird Action Shot™ for a while. Quite a while, actually, and for a while there it seemed there was one about every week or so. So for this I sincerely apologize. I hadn't realized it had been so long.
Might as well make up for it now, and make up for it in a big way. Ann Hung presents to us today a photograph from an important place in the local bird scene, the Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary in Ladner. And contained within Ann's frame is a density of bird that is nothing short of remarkable. Stunning, really. Here is the Annual Migration of Snow Geese.
