Every day we share a single photo from our Flickr Pool shot by one of our faithful and talented readers (that’s you!)

There have been a lot of photos submitted to the pool lately that feature the vibrant changing colours of fallen fall leaves, that I am pretty much obligated to share one with you all. Of course, I'd love to share them all with you, but then I might be stepping on the toes of Croudsourced Sunday - and I like to keep my toe-enstepping to the dance-floor exclusively.

So how do I pick just one? Well, something about a particular photo by Timothy_Hong caught my eye and piqued my interest. It might be all the time that I played along with Guess Where Vancouver on Flickr, and I might very well be wrong here, but I think Timothy's photo is in my old East Vancouver neighbourhood. I have a feeling that Timothy was standing on the south side of East 33rd Avenue, with Kensington Park on his right, looking east towards Dumfries Street. I miss that neighbourhood, and the beautiful Kensington Park, and used to love the Cherry Blossoms in the spring and the golden colours in the fall. I haven't lived there in more than three years, yet I still can't drive within 5 blocks of the area without driving by the old house we lived in, and lived in for many good years. Is it possible to get homesick when you still live in your hometown?

Here is the numerically-titled 13370020.
