Volume 45: Langara College‘s Art-fully Yours art and design auction on December 1, 2011. Hashtag: #ArtfullyYours. More photos available on Flickr.
I gunned it down to my old workplace at Langara College’s campus to take in their massive student art auction and sale featuring many artworks from different mediums and styles.
I was overwhelmed with the roughly three hundred art pieces displayed in the college library. There were so many choices at affordable prices. For a few twenties, you could have walked away with a stack of interesting pieces.

I’ve been to a few of the photo and design art shows from different Langara art departments and continue to be impressed by the vibrant creativity shown by the students and their instructors.
The silent auction provided a lot of fervor and excitement before live sale moderated by my old boss, VP of Student Development and Marketing Ian Humphreys (below), dressed in a stellar white tuxedo with tails.
Kudos to my colleagues in the communications and marketing department for a massive undertaking and showcasing the wonderful artwork from students and professionals alike.
