It’s always brilliant to come across new photographers in the UNPLUGGED Flickr Pickr Pool, especially when they contribute such beautiful work as Prab Bhatia‘s. The colours and depth of field drew my attention to this image immediately and then I started thinking about how patient, stealthy and lightning-fast Prab must have been to have made it!
Thanks also for reminding us all of the Bloedel Conservatory, a really awesome outdoor(ish) place to visit right in the city and perfect for this not-quite-warm-not-quite-completely-baltic time of year.
Thanks for this Prab, I hope to see your work here again soon.
Just a friendly reminder…if you would like any of your images to be chosen as the UNPLUGGED Flickr Pickr, make sure that the image’s code is available in Flickr so that I can post in on VIA. Thanks!
There was a lot of amazing photography in the pool this week folks, please keep posting and spreading the word about the Unplugged Flickr Pickr.
It’s that point in your consciousness where you can feel at one with nature, escaping the trappings of the day-to-day to an almost dream-like place where nothing else seems to exist besides you and your natural surroundings. It is our opinion here at VIA that Vancouver holds a unique place in the civilized world in that reaching this state often requires no more effort than simply pulling off to the side of the road, pocketing your keys and taking a few steps into the forest
