Well I got highly distracted this week...I spent 16 hours at the Vancity Theatre watching a LOT of Game Of Thrones, but it all came together in the end. While I might have missed a bit of music, yesterday I saw the Great Lake Swimmers show at the Aquarium, and there's something pretty cool about the fact that belugas like indie rock.
I've also stolen a bunch of photos from my #2, Leigh Eldridge, who caught US band White Rabbits at the Biltmore.
In other news, this week is going to be AMAZING.
THIS WEEK IN MUSIC: starts at 6pm at Zulu Records with a Great Lake Swimmers in store performance. After that, head over to the Biltmore (one of MANY times this week) to see Bahamas, w/ Wake Owl! Thursday I'll be at the latest instalment of Rain City Chonricles, "Crossing Boarders" at The Western Front. Friday, it gets loud when Ladyhawk, and Baptists, perform at Biltmore, and Saturday head there one more time for John K Samson, and Shotgun Jimmie! Amazing week ahead!
