As I POINTED OUT a couple of days ago it's National Volunteer Week in Canada. It's a time for us to celebrate all of the 12.5 million Canadians who are “leading positive change on all fronts” by giving up their time to contribute to things that they believe in. Today I wanted to share this behind the scenes video of and by CreativeMornings/Vancouver and remind you of the awesomeness of this free speaker series as well as point out the fact that every single person on their team is a volunteer. These people are tireless advocates for the creative community in Vancouver and they work hard every month to bring you this thing that helps fosters it for all of us. In short: they rule and you should thank them next time you get a ticket to Creative Mornings. Shake their hand, look them in the eyes and say "Thank you for doing this" and tell them why you think it's a valuable thing that they're doing. Let them know what you get out of it. I know every one of them would appreciate it.
