Cool! Vancouver violinist, Hannah Epperson, has launched a new performance series out of the church where her father is a minister (Unitarian Church of Vancouver at Oak + 49th Ave), with the intention of not only providing a venue for artists but also to make sure that they get paid for performing! SIDE NOTE: I made sure to ask if there's anything "churchy" about the events, as I am averse to showing up to something and having someone else's views pushed on me. I've been assured that the only thing churchy about these events are that they're held in a church (duh) and the series is called Church (duh, again). It's all about supporting the artists, which is what makes this particularly awesome.
