Volume 78: Wild About Wild Hawkshaw salmon tasting at C Restaurant in False Creek on July 18, 2012. Hashtag: #CWildAboutWild. More photos available on Flickr and Tumblr.
I love summer patio season and getting to enjoy the scenery with foodies like Victoria Chemko and Janice Leung (above).
Down in False Creek, C Restaurant held a showcase tasting of a variety of dishes and takes on tasty Hawkshaw salmon.

We enjoyed sashimi sticks, mini sliders, appetizer cones, among the many salmon concoctions prepared.
Food-tographer Kevin Wu and company enjoyed some fantastic rosé wine paired with the salmon dishes.
In addition, there were some classy kir royale champagne cocktails and watermelon vodka drinks.
I thoroughly enjoyed all the little twists and takes on local salmon, showcasing the flavour and texture of the fish from BC’s Skeena River.
It was a relaxing afternoon, enjoying the gorgeous seaside port view with seafood and libations.
