Fresh from winning the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Radio Program, THIS IS THAT storms the Rio theatre stage for Olio Festival 2012. For the first time in Vancouver, hosts Pat Kelly and Peter Oldring will offer audiences an intimate look behind the studio door of CBC’s satirical radio show. For the live show, fans witness the frenzied, improvisational production process of the actual radio show, and mixes the duo’s favourite character interviews and mockumentaries from the past two seasons with new stories from their brand-new third season, currently airing on CBC Radio One. Keen followers of This is That will also be happy to know that Pete and Pat will be unveiling some of the best phone calls from Canadians who didn’t realize the show was satirical.
If you have ever been curious about how two guys provide an entire country of voices for this national radio comedy, this is the show for you.
