Remember a few weeks back when I shared the story of how we teamed up with Herschel Supply Company and Nature's Path Organics, with help from Ford Canada, to deliver 30 backpacks full of food to kids in need? HERE is the piece in case you missed it. And below is a photo I received this morning from the director of the Strathcona Community Centre Backpack Program, Danielle, letting us know that the packs and the food are now in good hands.
Nathan was one of the lucky kids who won a draw that they did at the Centre. Each week the program send 147 families and 372 children home with healthy food for the weekend and they are always accepting donations of food.
