There's been all sorts of talk lately about the future of the Vancouver Art Gallery, with artists, collectors, directors and many others voicing their opinions on what they think the future should hold for this largely publicly funded institution.

There's been all sorts of talk lately about the future of the Vancouver Art Gallery, with artists, collectors, directors and many others voicing their opinions on what they think the future should hold for this largely publicly funded institution. Michael Green Architecture has released an Unsolicited proposal for what they think would work, and in a nutshell the concept involves 4 satellite galleries centred around four themes.

Very interesting stuff, and hopefully the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Unsolicited proposals aimed at making our city a better designed, more engaging (and engaged) place.
