THIS WEEK IN MUSIC: you have the choice of two nights of Yukon Blonde and The Sheepdogs at The Commodore – either Wednesday or Thursday. Thursday you could also be seeing Hannah Georgas and Mother Mother at the Orpheum, OR the East Van Christmas show at FORTUNE w/ No Sinner, Zach Gray, Tough Lovers, Gold & Youth, and more! Friday is the Jon & Roy xmas special – with guests Vince Vaccaro, Wake Owl, Frazey Ford, and Kim Churchill at the Vogue, or you can see Catlow and a few other bands at the Railway! Japandroids at the Rickshaw on Saturday is sold out, so if you’re left out in the rain, make sure to come to the Glory Days anniversary party – guest DJ’s including ME at 10pm – all in support of the Vancouver Food Bank.
