Welcome to In The Village on False Creek, a unique project inspired by Live@YVR and 365 Days of Dining. I’ve moved my family into this community with my mission being to showcase the myriad of things that make it awesome by bringing you a weekly scoop!

BC Place and Science World have really been duking it out lately with their light shows for False Creek. Tonight Science World gave us the New Year’s Eve fireworks show that many have been asking for, once again showing what their new-ish system can do in terms of animating the seawall.

At the 30 second mark in my video below you can see Canada House East and the reflection that the light show makes on it. For the lucky folks living in that building in The Village it’s almost like their very own fireworks display.
