2013 is already awash with new restaurant openings and food adventures. Yaletown’s newest upscale pizzeria  has arrived as The Parlour with its 100-seat lounge (formerly home to Skoah Spa).

The dining space is anchored by a custom Woodstone pizza oven. The open concept kitchen features parlour-style comfort food dishes.

The Parlour offered some eclectic pizza choices including The Dirty, Goldmember, Five-O, and #Swag (yes, spelled like a hashtag). I definitely enjoyed munching on some meatball sliders as well.

I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the upbeat atmosphere and interesting variety The Parlour offered. The food was good and the vibe was fun. It’s definitely a decent fit in Yaletown and should attract a good crowd.
