13 community leaders are teaming up with 13 photographers over two weeks in The Love Umbrella Project headed up by Kelly Deck. It’s an art-based media campaign and photo exhibition sponsored by The Vancouver Foundation, with all proceeds going to Leave Out Violence (LOVE), a Vancouver community organization devoted to youth anti-violence programs.
Each team was given the task of collaborating on an image or a series of images sharing the story of how love illuminates their communities. Click the image below to see more from Michelle Fortin and photographer Kris Krug, to learn more about the concept for their photo and the project as a whole.
“It’s love that allows every person who walks through our doors to let us be part of their journey to health.”
