Today's dog featured in Dogtown Vancouver: My Pet Diaries is Cheya. Here's her story...

BACKGROUND: 10 years old, Shepard mix, found in a box of an abandoned litter beside a trash dumpster with her brothers and sisters. There was 9 puppies in total & they all found homes.

DIARY: Written by Jules Seaman – Real Estate Agent, CENTURY 21 In Town Realty

Dear Diary

It was just two years ago that my dog, "Cheya" was crippled with brutal arthritis. Her back five vertebrae were encased in a brutal grip of arthritis. You could feel it when you touched her back, it was like touching gristle. The crunching noise her back made when she would limp over to get a drink of water was heartbreaking.

She had deep depression in her poor sad eyes and after multiple vet visits with no solid results I was contemplating putting her down.

I was just days away from making the call to have her put down when a friend of mine introduced me to an electromagnetic mat that changed our lives...

-Jules.
