...

Breed/Colouring: Grey tabby on top, white on the bottom

...

Hood: He came from Surrey and found his forever home in New Westminster

...

Habits: Lying across door jambs, sleeping on his back, cuddling against legs while people are watching TV, trying in fit on laps (he's a big boy, and he sometimes falls off,) jumping onto the tiny window ledge in Carmen's office to look out at the world, sitting on the living room rug to indicate that he wants playtime, and TALKING (he sure likes to talk!)

Hangouts:  His people's/his bed, Carmen's desk chair when she's not in it, the futon in the media room.

Name: Hornby (aka "The Dude")

Favorite Things: Any edible that contains fish or seafood (VOKRA trapped him at a fish processing plant.) When not playing energetically with his Cat Dancer mouse he also loves cuddles, head/chin/cheek scritches and belly rubs. He also like to explore and accompany his humans around the house. His favorite show is Game of Thrones.

Other Info: He weighs almost 15 pounds (no fat, all muscle) and has huge paws. He makes adorable Marge Simpson noises when he's happy. He was on the street for quite a while and he must have gotten into a few fights, because one of his ears has several notches (it gives him character.) He also had a nasty scratch on his nose when he was trapped, but it's mostly healed now. The folks at the VOKRA Surrey TNR Centre named him after the British author Nick Hornby, who wrote "High Fidelity" and "About a Girl."

From wandering alone in a fish processing plant to rolling around on a cozy bed in a matter of days!
