TO DIE FOR FOOD OF THE WEEK - VOLUME 52

Every week I compile a collection of the most mouthwatering food photos that I shot in & around Vancouver. The hashtag #todiefor denotes an item truly knee weakening in flavour.

Harvest (top) & Raw Zucchini Lasagne (below) by The Acorn - one of my favorite dining experiences in Vancouver thanks to its great atmosphere, sustainably and locally sourced ingredients and an extremely accomplished chef. You will not miss the meat. Come carnivores, come all!

50th Parallel Estate Winery - brand new to BC, this pinot-centric vineyard overlooking Okanagan Lake is a must-visit in Carrs Landing. $1 from each bottle purchased will be donated to High River flood relief efforts. Read more about 50th here

Queen Charlotte Salmon by Raudz - when vacationing in Kelowna (or simply passing through), this locavore, award-winning restaurant is a must-visit. Try the crab cakes with tangy slaw and a really-special cocktail, too.

Breakfast buffet at Sparkling Hill Resort - easily the most lavish complimentary breakfast buffet I've experienced. Enjoy smoked salmon breakfasts sandwiches with capers and cream cheese, chia seeds and dried fruit on oatmeal, almond milk for your coffee and a selection of gluten free baked goods. A visit to this Swarovski crystal-encrusted resort is a bucket list event.
