THE PROOF is a weekly roundup showcasing local creatives.  A column for creatives to share their story and work, in a unique, concise format: each creative shows 8 pictures and answers 8 questions. Past participants include Bob KronbauerOmer ArbelCarson TingLizzy KarpBranislav Henselmann, Hannah Georgas, Douglas Haddow - all living in Vancouver.

Anyone who knows Ricky knows his love for life, art, and anything remotely strange . A collector and a compulsive tinkerer, Ricky is one of the most creative people I know.

Five years ago, Ricky decidedly left a successful business in Ottawa and moved to Vancouver to pursue his career in Art and design.

In the summer of 2011 he teamed up with STE Marie Art+Design Studio as the studios resident Installation artist and collaboratively produced beautiful pieces for a variety of business in Vancouver .

With his continued success, Ricky has branched off and launched Tinto Creative his own Art and Design Studio. I have seen Ricky grow over the past couple of years. His hard work dedication and stubbornness has put him in the place that he is today. I am looking forward to seeing what he has up his sleeve .

You can check out his current work at www.tintocreative.com and IG @en_ricky.
