If you were to create a Venn diagram where one circle was labeled "cheap" and the other labeled "awesome", the middle point where they cross over could be labeled "Vancouver on the Cheap". In other words, this is a weekly series on things to do and places to go in Vancouver that fall into that magical category of being both cheap and awesome.

What happens when 6 of Vancouver's cultural institutions located around Vanier Park partner up? The Winter Wander, a truly excellent day where you can visit The Museum of Vancouver, Maritime Museum, H.R. MacMillan Space Centre, Vancouver Academy of Music, Vancouver Archives, and Bard on the Beach for only $5. Yes! Just visiting one of the Museum of Vancouver normally costs $12 for an adult, so this is MEGA savings. Plus, the day sounds like a lot of fun - programming throughout the day includes several music performances and samplings of the Bard's work from the Young Shakespeareans.
