NAME: Wheeler. |
BREED: Some kind of pomeranian/chihuahua/shrug mix (I call him a Chiranian).
HOOD: He moved in with me to Robson St. after being found on East Hastings trying to hide under a parked 18 wheeler (hence the name) after making a mad dash across the street in rush hour traffic..
FAVOURITE SNACK: His ideal treat is usually two of whatever you're having. Strange things he has a taste for so far include - an entire mandarin orange, gouda but not cheddar, he has no interest or love for potato of any kind, quinoa, and he hordes nibs but never eats them..
OTHER INFO: To be honest, I wasn't looking for a dog when I agreed to foster him. He peed on everything I owned for like three months, and I still think he only stopped when he had successfully marked everything in the house as "his" (cause who pees on their own stuff, right?) but since then he has been this loyal little sidekick that never lets me down. Judy from Animal Advocates was behind putting the two of us together when I offered to help any way I was able. I'd really be happy if sharing my experience with fostering and adopting a rescue will inspire someone else to do the same..
