A little more than a week ago I shared the news of BalconyPigeon.com, a wonderful new webcam of a pigeon couple tending to their eggs on a West End balcony . It was set up by my friends James and Ceone and I was fortunate to view the nest with my own two eyes yesterday.

Apparently pigeon eggs hatch within 14 to 21 days after they're laid, so we can expect to see some fuzzy feathers in the next few days. If you haven't yet checked out the live stream go HERE, and if you want to be notified the moment they hatch then you should join the Balcony Pigeon mailing list HERE.

Once you've fallen in love with this project I would like to kindly nudge you to make a small donation like I just did ($5? $20?) in order to help them pay for the streaming service and other related fees that they've incurred while bringing us all a look into the lives of these cute city critters. They're obviously not doing this to profit but it'd be sweet if we could all pitch in and lend a hand. Click the DONATE button below and send them some love if you feel so inclined.
