Every month we feature a kitty or two who are looking for their forever home. Today we have a puffy guy from VOKRA!

VOKRA does not have a shelter; they provide over 300 individual foster homes which helps to protect the very young from colds, distemper, parasites and other transmissible illnesses. In a home environment, cats are safe and well socialized, with lots of love and attention.

VOKRA also has an extensive TNR program, which means they trap, spay/neuter, and work with community cats to control the homeless cat population.

Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association (VOKRA) is a no-kill, non-profit, registered charity dedicated to the rescue of cats in the Lower Mainland that is run entirely by volunteers with no paid staff.

Bob Cat

Bob Cat is a bright-eyed guy with bobcat-like ear tufts and a luxurious mane. He was living outside on his own for at least a year in North Van when he was rescued. He entered a VOKRA trap weary, dirty, and skittish; he is now brushed, puffed up, fed, and warmed by the hands and hearts of his rescuers and fosters. Bob Cat loves catnip, being pet, and purrs for all of his new-found love and attention.

Currently Bob Cat is in the process of being neutered and settled in, but he will be ready for adoption very soon! Will you whisk him away into your forever home? You can contact VOKRA for more information!
