I'm still in Ontario and just wrapped up shooting another year of NXNE...photos coming soon, I promise. Thanks again this week to Vancouver Music Review and specifically Jessica Brodeur for having my out-of-town back! I'm home tomorrow but am running off to the Tall Tree Music Festival (and you should too!)...so next week will be a LOT of festival photos.

THIS WEEK IN MUSIC: it's still Jazz Fest! and tonight is a killer because you have to choose between two different, but equally awesome shows. Jill Barber, and Royal Wood are performing at the Vogue Theatre, and over at Fortune it's King Khan & The Shrines, with Red Mass from Montreal. Wednesday the 25th check out AgesandAges with Colin Cowan and the Elastic Stars, and Joyce Island at the Rickshaw. Thursday you have several options, including DEVO at the Commodore (!!!), the dual album release show for Hilary Grist, and Dominique Fricot (with The Lion, The Bear, The Fox as well) at the Rio, or if you're into the All Ages shows, Safe Amp is putting one on with The Oh Wells performing at Astorinos as well as a few other bands. And finally, you should really go to Tall Tree...it's going to be lots of fun.
