2014 marks V.I.A.'s 5th year being involved in the Honda Celebration of Light fireworks competition and my 5th year on the judging panel. Here's the list of the full panel for this summer:

Honda Celebration of Light fireworks judging panels from the past 3 years
There's no other event in the city that says summer to me like the annual fireworks. I'm thrilled to share the awesomeness of it with you every year and it's at about this time I like to draw your attention to THIS LINK, my original "How do you even judge fireworks?" post where back in 2010 - when I first was invited to be on the panel - I broke down the process involved in declaring a winner. This annual competition not only brings together all of us in the city but also world class pyrotechnic teams who walk away with a trophy and bragging rights. The judging process hasn't changed too much since 2010 but there have been some minor changes which I'll share in a post once the fireworks start.
