Canadian sportswear company releases running hat inspired by Vancouver's seawall

Way back in 2009 we shared THIS story about a traveling art show that was benefiting inner city youth, co-produced by a dude by the name of Mike Giles from Montreal.

Way back in 2009 we shared THIS story about a traveling art show that was benefiting inner city youth, co-produced by a dude by the name of Mike Giles from Montreal. Over the years Mike and I have become friends and I'm always impressed by his creative output, his great ideas and his perseverance. By day he runs a modern housewares company called Furni and by night he's a father who has his hands in all sorts of different projects.

Most recently, Mike launched a sportswear company out of Montreal called Ciele. To start they've simply released one cap design in a multitude of great colourways, my favourite obviously being the Seawall which was directly inspired by the Vancouver running staple of the same name. I took it fishing this weekend and am happy to say I love it so much it hasn't left my head except to sleep, and to take photos of it on stumps in lakes.
