Maker Series Workshop: Laser Cutting & More
Location: MakerLabs, 196 Kingsway, Vancouver BC
Date: Saturday, Sept 20
Learn about laser cutting and digital fabrication with hands on making at MakerLabs.
Presented by Laser Cutter Cafe
Laser cutters and other digital fabrication tools like 3D printers and CNC routers are rapidly expanding the possibilities for the average maker. In this workshop, you'll learn how these digital fabrication tools work together to make almost anything. Specifically, we'll be using the tools to create a collaborative geometric sculpture inspired by George Hart.
Workshop participants will also get a tour of MakerLabs and a personalized laser cut memento.
Sign up early at the event page. This is a limited capacity, first-come first-served event. The event sign-up details are here: https://www.picatic.com/lasercutting
