Vancouver Heritage Foundation is a registered charity supporting the conservation of heritage buildings and structures in recognition of their contribution to the city’s economy, sustainability and culture.

VHF has celebrated Mt. Pleasant history with 3 Places That Matter plaques; The Western Front, the Lee Building, and the China Creek Cycle Track. In light of South Main's return to its brewing roots, the suggestion that we visit Mt. Pleasant for our second Savouring Heritage event was timely. It doesn't get much better than exploring inside a heritage revitalized building turned new brewery, learning about the history of the building and the area, plus joining a walking tour of the neighbourhood by the person who has been working to revive the Brewery Creek history for over 25 years, historian and author, Bruce MacDonald. But it does get better, because it comes with beer! As we learn about the project of converting the building from garage to brewery, you can sample some locally made craft brews with the brewmaster!  Join us on Sunday, November 16th from 10am-12pm for Savouring Heritage with Main Street Brewery. Limited tickets available, please sign up here.
