mostawesome2014 "Amanda Milne and Fiona McLean, who together founded Knit Social, plan events in and around Vancouver for knitters and crocheters. They build community through tremendous fun and learning. From smaller-scale yarn swaps that allows crafters to trade unwanted materials for another’s gorgeous would-be trash, to large-scale weekend-long conferences featuring teachers from around Metro Vancouver and across Canada, Knit Social brings creative people together and provides programming that’s new and needed in the city.
