This is Vancouver's Most Awesome Animal Welfare Organization in 2014

Vancouverites love their dogs, but the sad truth is that not all dogs in Vancouver have loving homes. That’s where the Vancouver branch of the SPCA comes in, operating as a shelter for lost, abandoned, and surrendered animals.

Looking to adopt a dog? Consider checking out the SPCA or your local dog rescue before heading to the pet store. So many dogs are there waiting for their forever homes, and the friendly staff will help you find the dog who is exactly right for you and your lifestyle. Your new best friend is probably waiting for you right now!

Can’t have a dog right now but would love to help out? The SPCA operates with the help of many loving volunteers, who help socialize the animals, take photos, prepare animals for adoption, and foster animals who can’t be kept in the shelter.

With all they do for the animals of Vancouver, the Vancouver SPCA is truly awesome!
