Growing up, Malania Dela Cruz, Agency Director at Dela Cruz PR, had high aspirations to be a Mini Pop kid, travelling around the world performing, dancing, and singing on a big stage.
One book that considerably helped her tune up her singing and performing skills was Dennis Lee’sAlligator Pie, a book of childhood rhymes about elephants and laundromats, hockey games and skyscrapers. “The sing-song poems have stuck with me through the years and as an adult,” explained Malania, as did the Canadian cultural and geographical references in the book.
