Installed in 2010, I still find it incredibly awesome that this $800,000 icon was commissioned as a part of the Olympic and Paralympic Public Art Program from the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games. Easily recognizable legacies from the Games can be spotted all over our city but it's ones like this, not branded with the rings, that we forget were even part of it.
