Make Your Holiday a #FeelGoodHoliday this Christmas Eve

What I love about the holiday season is that it’s a time where people come together to do amazing things. What Nature’s Path, a family-owned organic breakfast and snack food company headquartered in Richmond, B.C, is planning on doing this Christmas Eve is a perfect example of just that.

Inspired by a recent volunteer experience, where the folks at the local Salvation Army divulged how much their clients appreciated receiving special treats during the holidays, Nature’s Path embarked on a mission to do something more for the hungry in their community.

On Christmas Eve (Dec 24th), a fleet of the Nature’s Path “elves” will be dropping off 2000 bags ($10,000 worth) of Love Crunch Gingerbread Granola at the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society and the Salvation Army, as a holiday treat for the people who need it most.

Afterwards, the elves will be finishing up their #FeelGoodHoliday mission by sharing the love on the streets of Downtown Vancouver. Look out for the Nature’s Path team around noon on December 24th, at the corner of West Georgia and Granville Street, and receive your own bag of yummy, organic gingerbread granola. A free treat? I’d say that’s a great way to kick off a day (and night) of festivities!

If you like what you taste and would prefer a full sized bag of delicious Love Crunch instead, then make your purchase knowing that you’ve already made your personal contribution to the #FeelGoodHoliday mission. For every bag purchased, Nature’s Path will donate the same amount to food banks across North America, up to $1 million annually in their Bite4Bite program.

To join the elves on their mission, hashtag #FeelGoodHoliday and follow @NaturesPath on Twitter to spread the season’s cheer. In the meantime, you can also help the cause by donating to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank and the Salvation Army.
