If you live in BC, Alberta or Ontario chances are you've seen one of these murals on the fence of an elementary school as you've driven or walked by. Since 2001 there have been hundreds of them installed by a non-profit called Stream Of Dreams, and they're meant to inspire us to protect and conserve water to ensure a healthy future. Each kid that paints one is taught about their local watershed and how to protect it, so the legacy isn't just in the art but in the kids and the knowledge they'll hopefully retain and put to use.
