More than 35 craft breweries are scheduled to descend on Squamish this summer for the first annual Squamish Beer Festival being held July 11th from 1pm-6pm at O’Siyam Pavilion. Taking place just a couple blocks away from one of my favourite BC breweries, Howe Sound, they'll be joined by other BC favourites Hoyne, Fernie Brewing, Postmark, Old Yale and many more, including some from outside the province. This celebration of beer will be accompanied by live music, local food and art exhibits. It's a great reason to get up the Sea to Sky (and then check into a hotel, because driving back the same day, under the influence, would be really dumb).

More info is at squamishbeerfestival.com and early bird tickets are available HERE.

SQUAMISH BC - Craft beer fans will soon have one more thing to raise their glasses to this summer with the launch of the first annual Squamish Beer Festival, a one-day event dedicated entirely to sampling the latest beer and cider releases from some of the world’s best breweries. The event will take place on Saturday July 11 from 1pm-6pm at O’Siyam Pavilion in Downtown Squamish.
