The Vancouver Canadians played their home opener at Nat Bailey this Friday evening and not only were we all treated to a gripping 5-3 win against the Hillsboro Hops but we also got a sweet fireworks show afterwards. Speaking as a 5-time Honda Celebration Of Light fireworks judge I can tell you that these not only add an exclamation point to the fun of attending a game but they're some of the best fireworks shows going around here. They go on for the duration of 4 songs and while they're not timed to the music the way the English Bay performances are, and they're smaller, I'm always impressed by these shows they put on.
