Whether you prefer to get outside and play in the low sun months or follow wanderlust to warm and sunny destinations, ROAM Winter Expo’s Adventure Travel Stage will provide a lineup of engaging presenters that will inspire you through photo, film and story-telling to turn your winter into a new experience, sharing advice and technique along the way.
Drop by Vancouver Convention Centre on Saturday for Adventures with Leanne Pelosi, one of the most influential, well-rounded professional snowboarders in the world. Leanne will talk about her adventures, from travel to film parts, to her current work producing a 2-year film project called ‘Full Moon’ with seven of the best backcountry women on the planet. Professional freeskier, Sean Pettit, will be on stage Sunday to walk the audience through iAdventure, The Making of... and his life-threatening roll in the world’s first high-production action-short shot entirely on iPhone and captured with HITCASE. He will also introduce his critically acclaimed ski film/thriller, The Masquerade. ROAM Winter Expo will also follow Mark McMorris through the adventures of a season spent traveling the world, riding the highs and lows of a life at snowboarding's absolute highest level, in the Vancouver Screening of In Motion, featuring behind-the-scenes access, insightful interviews, voiceover commentary and in-the-moment drama.
