Vancouver man's Star Wars rant goes old-school viral

The term "viral" gets thrown around a lot these days. On the evening news they'll talk about a Youtube clip they claim has gone viral and when you go to it online there's only been a couple thousand views of it.

The term "viral" gets thrown around a lot these days. On the evening news they'll talk about a Youtube clip they claim has gone viral and when you go to it online there's only been a couple thousand views of it. It seems to have morphed into meaning "a thing we found on the internet which we feel is interesting and/or funny and want to show you on the news and we don't have any other term to use". Whatever viral is these days, local actor Matty Granger's rant went old-school viral over the past few days. Shared by more than 36,000 people worldwide it's a response to a Huffington Post article which pointed out some supposed plot holes in the new Star Wars film. Matty wasn't having any of it, penning a 5,000 word opus that tears those holes to shre... wait... no, he basically patches them up real neat-like and proves they don't exist, and that the original article was bogus. It's on point, it's hilarious, and it's a must read for everyone that's watched The Force Awakens (as in, all of you). Spend some time with it HERE.
