The topic of ride sharing has been a hot one today as it looks like Uber might be getting a shake at the Vancouver market sooner than later. I thought it would be timely to share this photo from the City of Vancouver Archives of a dude piloting (driving?) a horse-drawn lumber wagon at the corner of Hastings and Cambie in the year 1888.
