This dapper gentleman is Kuba Oms. Born and raised in Victoria, he now splits his time between his home city and Vancouver. Kuba has been a mainstay on the Canadian music scene as the longtime frontman of Velvet, and as his musical style has evolved over the years he has incorporated a variety of genres into his songwriting - including pop, reggae, funk, soul and electronic.
Lately, he has found national success with the release of his new album ADHD. The album's title is a nod to his discovery (during the recording process) that he is affected by Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. The debut single 'Electrolove' is a full-blown dance tune with a great groove that peaked at #16 on the Hot AC Canadian chart. The second single "My Love" peaked at #14.
