One of the things I love seeing in the creative sector in Vancouver is collaboration. With so many silos dividing people it's always great when people combine forces for projects - big and small - and recently one launched that I'm particularly excited about. Monument Creatives is a group of 4 guys with a work history entrenched in cinematography, photography and creative direction. On their own they've worked with large agencies, in advertising, and for freelance clients, and not long ago they decided to come together to create their own agency.

Their niche is "outdoor adventure lifestyle", and they produce stunning, branded films that come with a compelling narrative woven in. They worked with us on this video for our Awesome Pacific IPA from Postmark Brewing and it was so much fun. A bit of a departure from their bigger budget projects, we actually managed to work them into it as subjects, and we clicked immediately. Hanging out with them for a couple days exposed me to their creativity and professionalism on shoots, and I was floored by the final product. I imagine their clients (Mercedes Benz, Herschel Supply, MEC and Huckberry, to name a few) will also spread the word about not only the quality of the work they produce but the ease and... well, joy... of bringing them on board. These guys are the best.
