Our office has a ridiculous collection of Expo 86 memorabilia

It goes without saying that we're fans of Expo 86 around here. We've made 16,088 entries to our blog over the years and the first post ever made was this one , authored February 14th, 2008. Valentine's Day of course.

It goes without saying that we're fans of Expo 86 around here. We've made 16,088 entries to our blog over the years and the first post ever made was this one, authored February 14th, 2008. Valentine's Day of course. We've been writing a love letter to our city over the past 8+ years and it all kicked off with a look back at an old Expo 86 video.

On this day, May 2nd, in 1986 Vancouver launched an event that would forever change the landscape of the city and its people, and you're going to see a lot of coverage from the media looking back on it today. For our part we'd like to present a slice of the memorabilia we've collected over the years which sits on a shelf here in our office and gets dusted off every couple years. Some have been gifts from people, some were procured on Ebay and others stumbled across at garage sales.
