Showcasing Vancouver’s vibrant Mount Pleasant art scene, the semi-annual art walk ROVE returns on May 27th.
Offering Vancouverites a fun, firsthand look at the city's local art scene, this free, one-night community event maps out galleries, art studios and creative spaces that will each feature a different local artist’s work.
ROVE provides guests the opportunity to discover a range of artwork, mix and mingle with local artists and take home a few unique pieces of their own. Attending the event is as simple as heading to Mount Pleasant on May 27th between 6-10 p.m., picking up a map at any of the eight designated locations and following the plotted route to check out artwork at the various venues.
ROVE maps will be available online and as of 6 p.m. on the 27th at any of the associated locations including grunt gallery, MAKE, LPY Studios, Gene Studios, Kafka’s, Omaha Studios, Burrard Arts Foundation and Field Contemporary.
An after party will kick-off at 10 p.m. at The Projection Room. Guests can show their ROVE map to get in for free.
