Are you growing tired of the same old farmers market food cart festival with supporting burlesque bands? Well, on June 2nd, the experimental doctor of entertainment, Paul Anthony, prescribes we all join him on his 2nd annual Summer Trip! The destination is the Rio Theater where Paul and his wingman Ryan Beil will not only be hosting the finale of Vancouver's live cult t.v. broadcast variety show, Paul Anthony's Talent Time, whilst under the influence of psychedelic entheogens, but encourage the audience to feel free to do the same.

As always, the list of talent is incredible, including such acts as The Minimalist Jug Band, Boxer-turned-comedian Shlomo McPeake, Traditional Chinese ribbon dance by Betty Lu, Gary Oliver from the Urban Safari Rescue (who doesn't like live animals when they're trippin) and a Shaman from Gibsons, BC . As our host/ guide wants to ensure no one has a bum experience, he is also providing a chill-out tent and free shoulder rubs by registered massage therapists, as well as the transient sounds of the house band led by Toga D'Hoore & James Higgins, and, of course, the traditional chance to win $100! Whether you, like Paul and Ryan, are going to ride the show like a pegacorn in a laser rainbow-filled theater or just watch the madness ensue, this is surely going to be more of a truly, further-outside-the-box happening than anything you'll experience this summer.
