1. Sutil Point on Cortes Island

Just ask anyone who’s been there, and they’ll tell you that Cortes Island is a truly magical place.

2. Screaming Cat Lake in Whistler

Hiking to this scenic tarn in Whistler involves strolling part of the Rainbow-Sproatt Flank Trail — an inviting multi-use thoroughfare on the west side of the valley.

3. Beaver Point in Ruckle Provincial Park, Salt Spring Island

If you’ve taken the Tsawwassen-Swartz Bay ferry, there’s a good chance you’ve laid eyes on Beaver Point.

5. Hicks Lake Trail in Sasquatch Provincial Park

The Hicks Lake Trail is an easy, four-kilometre loop. It requires just an hour and a half to walk, but you can easily take double that if you go looking for hidden treasure.

6. High Knoll in Minnekhada Regional Park

High KnollOpened in 1981, Minnekhada Regional Park lies in the territory of the Katzie First Nation.
