On March 10th you’ll be to sample the world’s finest whiskies and the city’s best eats at A Dram Come True, a fundraiser for the Vancouver Writers Fest.
Not only will you be able to sip and savour from a supposedly unlimited quantity of whisky, craft beer and wine, you’ll get to sample bites from Hawksworth, Savoury City and Gyoza Bar, who will be cooking Gyoza to order in the 1000s.
All of the proceeds from the event will go to the Vancouver Writers Fest, which has been celebrating stories, authors, poets, spoken word performers, and graphic novelists for over 29 years. The festival takes place over six days every October on Granville Island and continues throughout the year with the Incite reading series at the VPL and the Spreading the Word education programs at Lower Mainland schools and in small BC communities.
The experts behind each spirit, wine and beer will be onsite to answer your questions and to walk you through the tastings, so get ready to eat, drink and support something fantastic.
