On June 3rd, The Vancouver Facial Hair Club will host its third annual Facial Hair Competition to raise funds and awareness for men’s mental health initiatives. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Vancouver-based organization HeadsUpGuys.
Founded by Garrett Resler in 2013, The Vancouver Facial Hair Club is designed to foster a sense of community among facial growers and enthusiasts while also acting to support some of the city’s most important charities and non-profits. Acting as the official Vancouver-area Facial Hair Club representative of Beard Team Canada, the group has been a champion of the community, raising funds and awareness for the likes of Direction Youth Services and Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver.
This year's competition consists of 12 unique categories ranging from "Best Beard Over 12 Inches" to "Build a Beard,” (a category open to both men and women). The competition is open to absolutely anyone interested in participating. Think you have what it takes? Here are some highlights from last year’s event:

Lamplighter Public House (92 Water Street, Vancouver, BC.) Spectator tickets can be purchased at the door for $10, along with competitor tickets for $20.
All proceeds from the event will directly benefit HeadsUpGuys.
