What to expect at Car Free Day…
Music: with the Main St. Car Free Day boasting 15 stages alone, there’s tons of music and performances to take in. You can also head to the West End Car Free Day to take in awesome local talent at one of their 3 stages.
Family Fun: Car Free Days are a family friendly event! Make sure to check out the Main Street ‘Kid-Zone’ for tons of family fun and activities.
Sustainability: these events don’t just encourage you to leave your car at home, Car Free Day is also a leader in event waste management. For example, food sold on site must be served with utensils and dishes made of compostable materials. Car Free Day aims to keep your neighbourhood as clean as they found it, so make sure to use their receptacles to reduce the amount of waste going to landfills!
Food: so much food! Local restaurants and food vendors will line the streets with outdoor kitchens and special deals.
