A Vegetarian twist on casual Mexican street food. Lucha Verde is packed with bold flavours and interesting ingredients. Fried halloumi tacos and smoked eggplant ceviche for the win!

3. Buckets Ice Cream (3330 Main St)

What sets Buckets apart from the pack however is their use of nitrogen, which imparts the ice cream with an extra smooth and creamy texture.

4. Bells & Whistles (3296 Fraser Street)

File this under “almost open”. Bells & Whistles comes from the team behind Gastown’s Wildebeest and promises the same indulgent food and friendly neighbourhood vibes.

5. Rhinofish Noodle Bar (550 Main St)

Specializing in Taiwanese beef noodle, Rhinofish is a unique addition to Vancouver’s noodle bar scene. The dish itself dates back to the Hui people in the Tang Dynasty (A.D 618-907) and is just as delicious today!

6. Umaluma (235 Pender St)

A super delicious, healthy, organic, non-dairy alternative to traditional Italian gelato. Go get it!

7. St. Lawrence (269 Powel St)

Classic French Canadian inspired cooking by Chef JC Poirier. Think rich, indulgent and perfectly balanced between refined and rustic.

8. Sen Pad Thai (1666 Johnston St)
