In 2016, Crisis Centre BC impacted more than 102,000 lives across the province. On Saturday August 12th, KickOff Canada will host a daylong soccer tournament at Andy Livingstone Park to raise money for this incredibly important local initiative.

Founded with the hope of enacting positive changes through their shared passion, the team at KickOff Canada has been uniting citizens through soccer and raising funds for charity since 2014. Simply put, KickOff Canada organizes tournaments and soccer-related events, enabling them to raise money through sponsorships and team participation.

Their upcoming World Cup is one of their most anticipated events of the year, bringing together 16 teams to participate in a dazzling head-to-head, knockout style tournament. 50% of the proceeds from this year’s event will be donated to the Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Centre of BC, which has been providing emotional support to youth, adults and seniors in distress since 1969.

Ultimately KickOff Canada aims to raise awareness regarding suicide prevention and mental health while also providing the community an opportunity to run, play and have fun. KickOff World Cup 2014 was completely sold out in only 3 weeks, so if you want to guarantee a spot in the stands or on the field, we suggest that you buy your tickets now. See you on the field!
